Amanda Westlake (pen name Amanda Michelle Brown) is a full-time creative living in Los Angeles, California (but her heart is forever in the American south). Her day job is graphic designer, but at night she chases whatever project is currently consuming her: crocheting tiny dinosaurs, doing fantasy photography in the great outdoors, making rubber stamps, critiquing films, baking pies, designing newspapers and magazines, and writing books for both middle-graders and young adults.
She has published a dark fantasy YA novel entitled The Memory Jumper and will be releasing a self-published children’s book about feeling invisible called “Henry from Nowhere.” She is currently pitching her southern gothic novel “Birds of Pray.”
