Scavenger Hunt
Have your child find all of the animals in “Henry from Nowhere.” Teach them the sounds for each, and perform one move as you learn about animals!
The Same vs. Different
Teach kids that we can be friends with people, even if they are different than us. Also teach the concepts of the same/different. Children will fill out the form with information about themselves and then compare it with information about their friend.
I Am Like
Your child will choose an adjective that they relate to, and then get an accessory from the character with that personality trait. Fun imagination exercise! Talk through what each adjective means, and how it presents.
Discussion Sheet
Features nine questions to get kids thinking deeper about the story’s themes; also covers geography, nutrition, animals, and what similar and different are.
